RNE Radio 5 is an "all news" radio station operated by Radio Nacional de España, part of Spain's state-owned public broadcasting organization, Corporación de Radio y Televisión Española (RTVE).
It began broadcasting in 1994, following a reorganization of public radio services in that year.
