Great music. I sing jazz (sort of, trained tenor), well, not lately. I have a lot on my plate lately, tackling dementia (in others). Audition coming up for Wexford Festival Singers. Been in Ireland over 20 years. Journalist then caregiver for love of my life (a Dub now in nursing home south of New Ross). Worked on Jazz Express magazine in London (1987), regular at Ronnie Scott's, 100 Club and most especially Dean Street, Soho, Pizza Express, Jazz Basement. (Partied with Benny Carter on his 83rd birthday.) Crap rhythm guitarist at age 12 in band in 1968, California. Novice piano player, and okay on harmonica. I just came onto Kiss Jazz. Ain't no good jazz venues in Dublin/Ireland, not like London and not certainly like the SF Bay Area (Berkeley and San Francisco). I am going to change that after I tackle dementia and Alzheimer's. Keep it up people. Nice Jazz.
